A Different Kind Of Abstract Art

      Hello my name is Paula Marie and I love to create art. I have created this blog to share my art with people who might be interested in viewing it. And since I am a collector my self, I understand how important it is for people to express themselves through art and to communicate that expression to others. It is an unspoken language that only those who are sensitive in spiritual matters will be able to understand. That is why they say art is the expression of the soul. 

     I have looked around at many different styles of art and decided I wanted to create something different as I get bored looking at the same old stuff. That is why my art is completely different from anything else you will see out there and each piece is one of a kind.

     I have abstract art that is in the form of tropical, South West and folk styles. I enjoy all three forms equally and it makes a nice variety in the store.

     This is the first piece in my rubies and gems series abstract wall art. There are currently seven pieces available all unique and different. I'm calling this one "Rubies and Arrows"because the sparking red faux gems are the rubies and if you look closely, the lines coming from these gems on either side form an arrow. This was done in needlepoint and it took an entire week to create. The gems are glued to the glass with super strong adhesive. I love abstract art with lines and colors and I thought the sparkling faux gems gives the piece a distictive quality while making it look absolutely stunning!
